Curious and outgoing, Amethyst dragons are lovably nosy. Delighted by novelty, they simply can’t resist poking around anything new or unusual to find out more. Long, pointed horns peek out from a mane of dark-tipped crystalline spikes that adorn the head. The dorsal line, from neck to tail-tip, is similarly encrusted with crystals, as are the flanks and forelimbs. Thin, overlapping gemstone plates armor the underbelly. This amused youngster is being drawn irresistibly toward something that has piqued its interest… Part of the Gem Dragonlings, a series of baby dragons based on precious gemstones and a companion collection to The Dragonlings Series. This 11 x 14 inch horizontally-oriented print of the original graphite illustration is reproduced on 100# velvet finish paper, for a matte effect that captures the spirit of the original work. Individually hand signed, editioned, and numbered in gold ink by the artist. Shipped in a sealed clear protective sleeve with a sturdy backing board.
